4th Annual

What
A fun, all-day community event. It is a double-elimination wiffle ball tournament. Brackets start in the morning with 32 teams, and culminate in a final championship game by early evening. It is a fund-raiser for five entities that all collaborate for the event. The common thread is that all the proceeds go to projects that benefit kids.

When
Saturday May 10th, 2025

Where
Miracle League Field, north end of Lucchesi Park (320 N McDowell Blvd, Petaluma)

Cost
Free to come watch and cheer on the teams. Food & beverages for sale. Silent auction items also for sale (it’s a fundraiser!)

Why
The five collaborating entities are all using the proceeds to fund projects in support of children:

Miracle League
We provide a local baseball league for athletes with special needs. We play on a fully accessible field, which has a fully accessible playground available all year. Both of these incredible facilities were made possible by generous donors. Fundraising efforts for Miracle League North Bay go toward: providing a scholarship for athletes for an entire baseball season, field and playground updates and maintenance, putting on incredible events year round (Winter Wonderland, Valentine's Dance, etc), uniforms for the baseball season, and more! A potential long term goal is to install lights at the field!

Petaluma Rotary Club
We support children locally by providing hot dogs and chips on all Miracle League Game days. We also provide Christmas gift cards to local kids and families in need. In addition, we participate in the Tri club Rotary Lend A Hand to Education program. On the international side, we sponsor a junior high school student in a rural village in Mexico and contribute to several clean water and sanitation projects in countries that do not yet have these “luxuries”. We also sponsor local high school students to attend Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp. We also sponsor Boy Scouts.

Petaluma Valley Rotary Club
Examples of our projects for children have included Lend A Hand to Education and support for young people's mental health through PPSC. Lend A Hand is a major grant program to provide teachers with needed materials and opportunities to benefit Petaluma children's education.

Petaluma Sunrise Rotary Club
We count on the event proceeds to fund a very successful literacy enrichment program for elementary school students in the Dominican Republic.

Save Sight Now
We are a stand for ending childhood blindness! A rare genetic defect (Usher 1B) causes blindness for 400,000 young people in the world. We direct our share of the PWBT proceeds to help fund research to overcome the effects of Usher 1B in children locally and around the world.
